Martha

Dr. Martha is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) and graduate of the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.  With a broad general knowledge of the humanities, Dr. Martha embraces a patient-centered approach to medicine that involves practicing radical acceptance (accepting people as they are however they are and no matter what they decide for their own health and life), viewing health through the lens of evolutionary biology and psychology, and honoring the mind-body connection.  Her unique approach to medicine combines the naturopathic framework with the diagnostic and treatment tools of modern science. By bridging old medicine with new research, Dr. Martha takes a holistic, data-driven, evidence-based approach to healthcare with a focus on prevention and patient empowerment.

Dr. Martha specializes in longevity medicine, weight management, and hormone replacement therapy. Other clinical interests include optimizing cardio-renal-metabolic health, managing weight-related conditions, and addressing common medical issues like heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes.

Prior to becoming a naturopath, Dr. Martha worked in the burgeoning field of medical aesthetics where she administered many anti-aging, acne, and body contouring therapies. Dr. Martha understands that the link between our appearance and our overall health often goes beyond mere vanity. By cultivating happiness and wellness on the inside, people find that they look and feel more attractive on the outside. Dr. Martha enjoys helping people look good and feel better.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Martha enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, history, and spending quality time with her husband and their two "kids" (cats!).
